That’s why we don’t use any synthetic fixatives or stabilizers, choosing instead to work with natural ingredients that evolve beautifully on the skin over time. Natural molecules in perfume biodegrade, much like oranges, grass, or last week’s leftovers. If it comes from nature, it will break down when exposed to oxygen.
Natural ingredients in perfume start to decompose upon skin contact, influenced by exposure to oxygen, skin bacteria, body heat, and the environment. Unlike synthetic alternatives, natural scents won’t resist this natural breakdown. And that’s a beautiful thing.
